Shell are a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies employing about 94,000 people across the world. They have operated in the UK since 1897. With over 6,300 employees, our operations here are an important part of our business.
A content hub was designed and developed from the ground up, used to house a range of content produced by Shell and their partners. This content included interactive infographics, videos and quizes and needed to sit and work within YouTube. There were a large number of significant challenges on this project. To name a few, heavily restrictive delivery schedules, technical restrictions of working within YouTube’s platform and the nature of the content received was produced to different specifications.

Phase 2 included design and production of a content piece called ‘Decades in Energy’. which essentially was an interactive infographic about international energy consumption.
Phase 3 included minor UI optimisations as well as amends of cross-device compatibility as a result of changes withing YouTube’s platform.
